After Action Report: Selection of Third Party Engineering Firm

After a comprehensive evaluation and interview process, the Board of Directors of LID 19 has selected Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., to conduct an independent third party evaluation of LID 19’s levee and drainage system and operations. As previously noted, Aptim has been asked to evaluate the following:

  • Phase 1: Design and Construction of Current System
  • Phase 2: Operations and Response During Harvey
  • Phase 3: Recommendations

The Board will be providing updates to the website as information and reports are made available from Aptim.

LID 19 has approved the posting and distribution of a Request for Qualifications for an independent review of LID 19’s levee and drainage system and operating procedures.  Click here for a pdf copy
 
The After Action Report (AAR) is proposed to be presented in three phases:
  • Phase 1: Design and Construction
  • Phase 2:  Operations and Response
  • Phase 3:  Recommendations
As each phase of the AAR is presented to the Board, copies will be posted here.
 
Statements of Qualification are due November 7, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. (3 week posting).  No more than three (3) firms will be contacted for interviews, which will take place during the first week of December.  LID 19’s Board hopes to have a qualified firm selected by December 15, 2017.
