The proposition to convert LID 19’s Board to an elected Board has passed. On Friday, May 11, 2018, the following candidates will be sworn into office:
Precinct 1: Kalapi Sheth
Precinct 2: —
Precinct 3: John Arndt
Precinct 4: —
Precinct 5: Radhika Iyer
The newly elected Board will appoint qualified directors to serve on the vacant positions for Precincts 2 and 4.
Although we had anticipated receipt this week of the Phase 1 report from Aptim, the District’s third party engineer, it appears that delivery of the report will be delayed. In order to ensure the accuracy of its findings, Aptim has been given additional time to conduct its analysis of the design of the District’s facilities. We are confident that Aptim is working hard to provide a timely, thorough, and accurate report. We do not anticipate significant delays, and we will update the website once we know of a new anticipated delivery date.
As you may be aware, LID 19 received a petition to determine whether directors for LID 19’s Board of Directors should be elected, rather than appointed by Fort Bend County. The Fort Bend County Elections Administrator will conduct the election for LID 19. Read More …
