Steep Bank Creek Pump Station – Supplemental Pumps

As previously reported here, LID 19 has ordered supplemental pumps to remain onsite at the Steep Bank Creek Pump Station site. These supplemental pumps have doubled the pumping capacity, so that the site can now pump a total of up to 161,000 gallons per minute out of Steep Bank Creek. The operators have been conducting emergency operations drills onsite to ensure that these pumps can be put to use quickly in the event of an emergency.
