Jeff Lindner of the Harris County Flood Control District recently released the following report regarding Hurricane Harvey. Although the report was not written for the benefit of residents in Fort Bend County, some of the storm data may be of interest to you.

Heavy rain is expected this weekend continuing into Monday and Tuesday with estimated total rainfall of 2 to 6 inches over this period. Localized street flooding and rising creek levels are possible. Currently all pumps and detention facilities are fully functional. Levee Management Services and Costello, Inc. are monitoring the situation and communications from Fort Bend County and the National Weather Service.
